At SASUKE Country Farm, an agricultural experience farm in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, we provide thorough instruction even for those who are new to vegetable gardening. You can grow fresh and safe vegetables with your own hands. Moreover, you can refresh your mind and body in nature. It is also an ideal place to communicate with family and friends.

This farm is a membership-based agricultural experience farm. No need to bring anything. You can harvest about 30 kinds of vegetables throughout the year. The farm owner will carefully teach you so that you can harvest fresh vegetables. If you are looking for a place where the whole family can enjoy outdoor activities, SASUKE Country Farm is perfect. There are 18 workshops held throughout the year. Farm work is available on weekends, holidays, and weekdays. In addition, there are two social gatherings a year and other memorable activities for the whole family. For example, there is a sandbox for children on the farm, and camping is OK around the fields! There is also a dog run for members, so your dog can also enjoy it. In addition to growing vegetables in the fields, you can go fishing or SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) at nearby Lake Teganuma, take a walk or go cycling, and shop at the nearby Shonan roadside station market on your way home. Afterwards, you can relax and unwind at the natural hot spring Mantennoyu!

At our community garden, the basic principle is that all members grow the same type of vegetable.
Even though they're all called "experiential farms," the methods of growing vegetables, the way tasks are carried out, and the materials used vary greatly from farm to farm.
"I want to raise them using methods that are as close to nature as possible."
"I don't mind if there are a few insect bites."
"Ideally, I'd like to harvest beautiful vegetables."
People have different approaches to growing vegetables.
The type of farm you choose will depend on the method of cultivation you want to use.
At our farm, we use only the minimum necessary amount of pesticides when sowing seeds or planting seedlings, and after that, we primarily use organic (pesticide-free) materials for pest and disease control.
This method allows you to enjoy growing vegetables with peace of mind while staying as close to nature as possible.
Furthermore, if you consult with the farm owner regarding cultivation methods, we can accommodate both those who prefer pesticide-free cultivation and those who prefer cultivation using pesticides.
We aim to create a farm where everyone can feel comfortable, while being considerate of other members.

<Contents of the experiential farm>
The same course is offered over three days, generally Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so please attend one session on a day that is convenient for you.
There are training sessions approximately every two weeks, but you can do farm work anytime, from morning to evening, every day.
You will attend nine workshops in the first semester (spring) and nine in the second semester (autumn), and you will grow about 30 different kinds of vegetables over the course of a year.
Our annual schedule also includes bamboo shoot digging in the spring and sweet potato digging in the fall.
Other activities include social gatherings for members and opportunities to pick vegetables other than those grown in the fields.

当農園は、**初心者でも安心して始められる講習会付き体験農園**です。
農具・肥料・苗などはすべて完備。手ぶらで野菜作りを始められます。
全20区画の小規模農園のため、きめ細かなサポートが特徴です。

大井バス停から徒歩約12分、駐車場完備。

■ 栽培期間・年間スケジュール
栽培期間は3月～翌年1月までの11か月間。
継続希望の方は2月も延長可能で、玉ねぎなど春に収穫野菜の
栽培もできます。
年間約30種類の季節野菜を育てます。
タケノコ掘り・さつま芋掘りなどの収穫もメニューに入っています。

■ 講習会付きだから初心者でも安心
年間1８回（月2回程度）の講習会を開催。
第２回講習会３月２０日、２１日、２２日午前10時から、各日共に同じ内容の講習です。（いずれか1回参加）。
農作業は24時間いつでも可能。
園主の自宅横に農園があるので、目が行き届きます。
毎回オリジナルテキストをお渡しするため、復習しながら自分の
ペースで農作業ができます。

農具・肥料・農業資材・苗・種はすべて当園でご用意。
汚れてもよい服装でお越しいただければ大丈夫です。

■ 農薬について（減農薬）
栽培初期にのみ少量使用し、その後は無農薬栽培で使用可能な資材で
病害虫防除を行っています。
ご希望に応じて可能な範囲でご相談にも対応いたします。
